Is Setora cheaper than Trimsy?
At the prices published on 8 September 2026, Trimsy advertises £49/month per shop plus VAT and Setora is £39/month per location, before VAT where applicable. That is a £10 monthly difference before VAT. Trimsy says its joining price stays locked while the subscription continues without a break. Setora does not promise a lifetime price lock.
Will I lose my customer data?
Trimsy's terms say your customers, bookings, history and photographs belong to you and can be supplied in a spreadsheet. Ask for the export before cancelling. Setora can help import supported records included in the files you receive, but fields missing from the export cannot be moved.
Does Setora charge booking commission?
No. Setora is £39/month per location and takes no commission on bookings, card payments or walk-ins. SMS credits and Stripe processing are separate when used. Trimsy also advertises zero booking commission.
What does Setora offer that Trimsy does not advertise as live?
Setora documents deposits, full online payments, Booking Protection, an automatic waitlist, multi-location support and Mailchimp sync as available now. REST API v1 is in alpha, with access by request. Trimsy marks card on file and no-show charging as coming soon. The other features were not documented on the Trimsy UK pages checked, so confirm their current availability directly.
What is different about the mobile apps?
Setora provides a management app for owners and staff through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Customers still book through the web-based Booking Page. Trimsy advertises a shop-branded installable staff web app that sits on a barber's home screen without an app-store download. Trimsy offers stronger shop branding, while Setora offers an app distributed through the two main app stores.
Can Setora build my website?
Setora offers Shop Websites with a homepage and location pages linked to the Setora Booking Page. Trimsy also includes a shop-branded website and says the website can be taken with you if you leave. Discuss design, domain and portability requirements before switching because the two offers are not identical.
